Meridiana Shipping Agency d.o.o. is a limited liability company, with its head office at Koper – Slovenia , in the almost northernmost point of the Adriatic Sea, where Mediterranean reaches deepest into Central Europe. Meridiana offers extensive shipping and logistic services in container liner services as well in general cargo operations and husbanding support.

The company through the years has become a modern enterprise following the trends and technological developments in business practice in the shipping world. The well skilled staff combines knowledge , tradition and new technology.  Meridiana Shipping Agency d.o.o. is operating in the field of shipping and logistic , serving Traders, Charterers, Owners, Operators. Through membership of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia Slovenian Ship and Freight Agents Association we are members of BIMCO, FONASBA and ECASBA associations.

On April 2003 Meridiana d.o.o. attained  the prestigious  quality management certificate ISO  9001 : 2000 as evidence of the quality policies and procedures respected  in the Company's activities. Beside other activities, Merdiana is engaged in the Marco Polo project:,  which  is the European Union's funding program for projects inttended for shifting  freight transport from the road to sea, rail and inland waterways giving  its contribution to reduction of pollution. This means fewer trucks on the road and thus less congestion, less pollution, and more reliable and efficient transport of goods
